"He who owns the information owns the world" - Winston Churchill's famous words are more relevant than ever in today's world, where information is a strategic resource and its proper use is becoming a profession in many professions.
Recently, Yulia Shandra, the founder of the marketing agency TOP DIGITAL, became a speaker at the training “Prospects for Digital Professions” and told its young participants about trendy digital professions, the opportunities they offer, and the prospects for further career growth.
25 creative and inquisitive boys and girls became participants in the “Professional Horizons” project implemented by the Department of Social Policy of Vinnytsia City Council with the support of Vinnytsia City Council and the Interregional Humanitarian Coordination Center. The aim of this project is to help teenagers – 13-17 years old – children of our Defenders and internally displaced persons – find themselves in the world of professions. During several trainings, young people have the opportunity to talk to successful representatives of many professions, learn the intricacies of the profession, the pros, cons and pitfalls of each area. This time, the young participants of the event listened with particular interest, as they learned that they can become realized in many professions before they reach adulthood.
- The modern digitalized world has created many new and highly sought-after professions (such as targeting specialist, SMM specialist, copywriter, brand photographer, project manager) that no one has heard of until recently. Successful representatives of these professions have not only interesting work, career growth, and exciting business trips, but also decent salaries in the labor market. Interestingly, the SMM industry is ideal for young people: there are no age restrictions, and basic training for specialists is relatively short. So it’s not only possible, but quite realistic to develop in creative professions until you reach adulthood,” Yulia Shandra is convinced.

The event was held in Vinnytsia at the Artinov Creative Space and allowed progressive young people to analyze their talents, strengths, and interest in a particular professional field in order to make the right life choice in the future, relying not on the opinions of others but on their own feelings and observations.
“TOP DIGITAL has repeatedly joined various career guidance social projects for teenagers and young people, because by providing enough information for the younger generation, we are raising a generation of people who work by vocation, have clear plans for the future, and are successful and fulfilled in the field they are interested in.
- I am glad to have become a speaker of the socially important project “Career Guidance Horizons”: I saw the sincere interest of these children, was happy to answer many questions and was surprised at how talented and purposeful our youth are. I believe that I managed to light a spark of love for digital professions with my speech and, perhaps, soon someone who listened so eagerly to everything I said will become a part of our talented team,” summarized Yulia Shandra, founder of TOP DIGITAL.
